Biomedical Technician / Equipment Support Specialist – LEVEL II

A two-year associate degree or higher in an applied science or equivalent military training.
Demonstrated competency to perform operational verification procedures, planned maintenance, and repair service on various medical equipment.
Understanding of regulatory agencies’ requirements, industry regulatory requirements and International Standard Organization standards.
Familiarity with the setup and application of test equipment.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical literature, schematics, and drawings.
A minimum of three years of hospital or healthcare experience performing medical equipment maintenance.
Work Conditions and Special Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. at a time, the ability to push/pull equipment to and from carts, the ability to kneel, stand, bend, and reach during equipment repair/maintenance.
Pay Range: $34.39-$36.20 per hour
Annualized: $ 71,535- $ 75,290
80 percent travel around the Columbus, OH area only – on behalf of the Veterans Administration, providing services to affiliated clinics and hospitals.
*Travel is reimbursed only for over a 50-mile radius
Contract Length: 5 -year long-term government contract with full benefits
