The Healthcare Technology Management Expert Role is a remote opportunity and a long-term one-year contract with full benefits.   (Renewal after one year is possible, dependent upon government approval.)

This position starts 09/30/22, ending in 09/30/23.

The HTM Expert will serve Fort Detrick in Frederick, MD working remotely.

HTM Expert/Lead HTM:

 EDUCATION:   B.A. or B.S. degree, or possess a valid certification issued by AAMI, ACCE, PMI.

General Experience: Typically has 7 to 9 years’ experience in managing implementation of medical devices/medical device systems (MD/MDS) projects and experience in medical device systems analysis and maintenance management.

Duties: Applies experience and education to manage, maintain, and/or design medical devices used or proposed for use in various healthcare settings from the home, the field, the doctor’s office, and the hospital. Uses business processes to interact and provide oversight of medical equipment involve in the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patients. Develop policies and procedures that govern activities such as selection, planning, and acquisition of medical devices to incoming inspection, acceptance, maintenance, and retirement and disposal of medical equipment.

Essential Job Functions:

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 to 9 years’ experience in managing implementation of medical devices/medical device systems (MD/MDS) projects and experience in medical device systems analysis and maintenance management.
Working knowledge and experience with DMLSS, JMAR, GCSS-A, and TEWLS.  DAU Course certifications are helpful.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including MS Teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Arts or Science degree, or possess a valid certification issued by AAMI, ACCE, PMI.

Salary:

Hourly Range     $52.71 – $55.48

Annualized ($109,636.80 – $115,398.40)

Annual Leave Accrues to a maximum of 120 hours per year. Leave may not be used for the first 90 days of employment unless approved by your supervisor.
